		<description>As of right now, I haven&#039;t replaced it. If I do, I assume the original will have to be rebuilt considering it&#039;s a unique transformer. But I got it sounding fine with tube replacement and cleaning up a little of the last guy&#039;s work (I don&#039;t know who he was, but he was apparently a novice). It&#039;s still not quite as clear on the drive channel as the other KittyHawks I&#039;ve heard, but the clean sound is impeccable; so it&#039;s in to my amp tech at this moment for final review. He said everything came back fine on the scope, so he&#039;s gotta poke around. The good news is, he doesn&#039;t think it&#039;s the transformer as of now. He thinks that was the last guy&#039;s way of washing his hands of the repairs.</description>

The guys at JetCity picked a great amp design by Soldano, had him put some custom features into it for their use, and then shipped the whole build and production overseas to bring the price WAY down. You WILL want to replace the tubes they ship with, so factor in that additional cost. But otherwise, great amp for the buck!</description>
